Links to other recipe websites |
|
|
Here you will find a compilation of interesting recipe websites
that we have collected along the way. Almost any recipe you
find can be adapted to the SCD standards. Most of these links
are NOT "SCD safe". You, have to "interpret"
and translate most of the recipes, but all it takes is a bit
of experimenting.
For
example, almond flour instead of other flours, coconut milk
instead of regular milk or cream, honey instead of sugar,
etc, etc. And there you have it!

Darrell, Here is a web site that will help a lot.
http://www.triplesoft.com
This list is very helpful also. Many people share there receipes
on the scd list. The diet is time consuming and hard at first
but after you get used to it and learn how to freeze ahead
of time, it becomes manageble. It is well worth all the trouble.
Do not think of it as a diet, it is a change of the way
you live.

Check the recipes (most are SCD) on the following page. They
also have dried organic fruits but it is quite expensive.
thanks,

Gluton, casein, grain and bean free recipes |

Subject: Update of PaleoFood Recipe Site
I just spent some time reorganizing the PaleoFood recipe site
and adding more than 100 KB of new recipe text. This makes
it much easier to find things, and the site is now more than
50% larger.
All recipes are gluten-free, casein-free, grain-free, and
bean-free. The should make them acceptable for most people
on the SCD.
(...)
This recipe site is all SCD, plus no dairy at all, and not
the few bean types that Elaine allows. It does have citrus
and some tomato. Often the recipes with tomatoes are segregated
out.

From an adult point-of-view I like to snack on raw nuts of
various types and homemade jerky. But you are looking for
more lunch type of things. Check out the site. It is organized
like a popular cookbook.

Hi group,
FYI... for those not on the old SCD list (now IBD diet list).
Don Wiss, the former listowner posted the following message
about paleolithic diet recipes. This diet is even more restrictive
than the SCD, so most recipes should be ok for us on the SCD.

a collection of recipes that JoAnn Betten of the PaleoFood
mailing list collected and organized. All have no grains,
no gluten, no dairy. no beans/legumes, no refined sugar, or
other Neolithic foods. Most should be acceptable for people
on the SCD.

Low-carbohydrate
recipes |
|
Hi Everyone,
I was looking around on the net recently and found this bunch
of recipes. They are from a website that is a support site
for people on low-carbohydrate diets. Not all the recipes
work for the SCD, but I believe quite a few do.

Bon Appetit!
