Do humans have a rumen?

Actually what I believe and what many GI specialists in the past (I don't know about the present) is that although we are supposed not to have a rumen where bacteria digest a lot of the indigestible components of a diet (like cellulose in herbivores) that because we are not eating a diet which is compatible with our genetic makeup, we have substituted the cecum for a rumen. The ileocecal valve in Crohns, the appendix and the ascending colon , as a result, seem to get infected with this overgrowth of probably mutated normal bacteria.
