Is it okay to take tylenol with codeine for headaches while on the SCD?

Yes, the codeine in the tylenol would probably help the headaches; they sure do mine. But if anyone is prone to getting obstructions (ileostomies or people with Crohn's whose ileum closes up sometimes) the codeine could slow down intestinal peristalsis and may cause an obstruction. I do not know how much would be need to do that but if you do not fit into these two categories, then it would probably be OK. Of course, you should consult with your physician and/or pharmacist before doing so.
